Didactics of the Polish as a foreign language – qualification studies.

 

The goal:

The goal of the studies is to prepare students in substantive and didactic way to be a teacher for foreigners of culture and Polish language at all levels (A0-C2) in state institutions and schools abroad.

 

Addressees:

• Module I: Graduates of 1^st and 2^nd degree of Polish philology studies and unified master studies.
• Module II: Graduates of 1^st and 2^nd degree of neophilology and other social-humanistic studies and unified master studies but also graduates of non-humanistic studies. 

 

BENEFITS:
Graduates will gain the knowledge within methods of teaching Polish as a foreign language and levels of language competences. They will familiarize themselves with techniques of Polish language’s subsystems teaching and with methods of teaching linguistic skills and they will be able to use these methods in didactical practice. Graduates will know methods of testing of Polish as a foreign language in order not only to teach them with accordance of present standards but also to be able to prepare students for a state exam. Graduates will gain knowledge within creating particular types of courses and developing programs adopted to the level. They will familiarize themselves with multimedia techniques (dictionaries, computer programs, e-learning platforms) and with ways of their usage in work as a Polish language lecturer.

 

Graduates will receive the diploma of completion of studies of Polish as a foreign language giving authority to work as a Polish language teacher in the country and abroad.

 

LECTURERS:
Lecturers are glosseducators of Polish language who are the employees of academic centers which aim is to teach, test and promote the Polish language and culture. Lecturers have many-year experience in Polish language lecturers’ training.
