The Polish Language and Culture School

at the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz

Polish language is on of the most difficult languages around the world. Does it mean that it is impossible to learn it? Of course not! You can learn it!

 

In the Polish Language and Culture School we will provide you with fast, efficient and at the high level education of all language skills: reading, writing, speaking and listening.
 

The University of Economy in Bydgoszcz has carried out regular Polish language courses for foreigners since 2006.

 

Lessons in the Polish Language and Culture School at the University of Economy are conducted by experienced, qualified Polish language teachers (philologists, etno- and sociolinguists and culture experts).

Polish language lecturers are graduates of two-year-post-graduate studies of Polish language teaching as a foreign language.

The school has specially prepared e-learning platform which supports the process of education. The platform contains its own teaching materials (miniscripts, interactive materials). Part of lessons takes place in a specialist phonetic exercise workshop.

 

The Polish Language and Culture School at the University of Economy, as Accredited Examination Centre, has carried out international exams for foreigners in Polish language at B1 and B2 levels from academic year 2013/2014.

 

Over 2600 foreigners from over 30 countries (students, entrepreneurs, academic teachers) took part in different courses and summer schools between 2006 and 2017.

Since 2017, the only in Kujawsko-Pomorskie voivodship certified state examinations in Polish as a foreign language at all levels (A1-C2). Examinations are held at the School of Culture and Polish at the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz (WSG)

The language school at the University of Economics in Bydgoszcz conducts a two-week intensive course of Polish as a foreign language for students of Russia, Belarus and Ukraine. The Summer Schools of the Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners are also implemented.
