Information and standards
Educational programs used by the Polish Language and Culture School at WSG are based on the standards and level system accepted by State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language (more information about the standards: www.certyfikatpolski.pl). Moreover, rules developed in the programming document of the Council of Europe - Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) are accepted.
The Polish Language and Culture School at WSG bases its lessons on 6 levels developed by CEFR:
Students are selected to particular groups on the basis of entrance exams which are based on the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. The authors of the tests are lecturers of our school. After finishing the course, each participant obtains certificate of The Polish Language and Culture School at WSG and descriptively described result.
The lecturers of the Polish Language and Culture School WSG have also classes in the subject called “The culture of Polish Language” (56 hours in a term, groups of all levels) for foreign students of the University of Economy in Bydgoszcz.
At the beginning of a term students familiarize themselves with syllabus containing information about teaching standards and the program of the subject. The level of the course, conditions of passing, evaluation system and scoring ECTS system are also described there.
