The Offer

 

The University of Economy has regularly conducted Polish language courses for foreigners Since 2006. The Polish Language and Culture School recommends:

  • full 2- and 4-term courses at A1-C1 levels, 
  • whole-year courses (200 hours),
  • courses preparing for studies at universities at B1 level,
  • the course preparing for studies at universities – the form of the course is recommended for people who want to study at the University of Economy,
  • individual or group courses at levels A1, A2, B1, B2
  • individual or group courses preparing for the State examination at levels: B1, B2
  • holiday courses (100 and 200 hours) within summer schools,
  • shortened courses (24 and 48 hours) within “intensive courses” of Erasmus,
  • conversations in specialist language.

 

There is a possibility to create other language courses with number of hours adjusted to the group.

People who want to take part in the course are asked to apply to the Foreign Languages School. Being classified to the Polish language course may be the basis for receiving of residence visa.

  • The course: My Business in Poland

- general Polish language with the language of business (100 hours of the course),

- formal and legal conditions of establishing a company in Poland ,

- Polish customs,

- practices in companies as a completion of the course. 

 

  • The course: My work in Poland

- Polish language – industry-related vocabulary connected with taking-up a job (industry vocabulary, individual attitude towards the participants), 

- legal aspects of being and working in Poland, 

- classes of writing of CV, application letter and an interview, 

- practices in companies as a completion of the course. 

 

The course: Polish language in law and administration

- Polish language

- making the participant familiar with the secrets of the Polish law, 

- broadening the knowledge from areas of public life: political and economic.

- participation in cultural events organized by the Foreign Language School: international days, karaoke,

 

The course : The culture of business and basics of interpersonal communication in Poland.

 - Polish language

-  the dimension of business culture in Poland 

- the rules of interpersonal communication in Poland

- making the participants familiar with the basic functions of the process of interpersonal communication.
